The tour includes the main landmarks of communist history in the city of Tirana: the monument of unknown soldier, National museum of History, National Palace of Culture, former headquarters of the Albanian Communist Party among others. During the 3-hour-long walking tour you will learn about the theory of communism, the history of communism in Albania, this tour also provides an interesting firsthand account of life pre and post Iron Curtain and helps to understand the local way of living and not just see the city from a tourist’s viewpoint.
